College softball has finally arrived!

The game is changing for college sports fans. This October, FloSports will launch FloCollege, a new college sports streaming platform elevating underserved Division-II and Division-III athletics while serving Division-I fans at scale. Featuring 12 NCAA conferences with more than 12,000 live games for the 2024-2025 season, FloCollege will be an essential destination for fans offering live events, original programming and news all in one place. FloCollege will officially launch on October 15 for $19.99/month or $107.88/year ($8.99/month).

The Gulf South Conference (GSC) and FloSports, have announced an expansion of sports coverage to include soccer, baseball, softball and women’s lacrosse to its ground-breaking agreement. The increase comes in year two of a five-year agreement, which was announced in May 2023.

Today, during the 2024 NACDA & Affiliates Convention, FloSports will announce the launch of a comprehensive NCAA sports platform that will showcase its conference partners across the DI, DII, and DIII levels, providing fans one essential destination for live events and editorial coverage – FloCollege. The new FloSports platform will package live stream events, sports data, rich editorial content and social programming to support teams and athletes across all divisions with a focus on DII and DIII programs. It will also boast the largest portfolio of women’s sports at the DII and DIII level available on any streaming platform today. FloCollege is scheduled to launch this October in advance of the winter sports season.

The Gulf South Conference Softball Championship title game, which will close out a furious four days on the Choccolocco Park diamond in Oxford, Alabama, is going to have a lot of Alabama flair to it that goes beyond just the matchup’s location.

Division II softball fans and watchers know exactly how much of a gauntlet the Gulf South Conference is, and that's no different in 2023.

With the return of NCAA softball just days away, the storylines heading into the 2023 season are endless, particularly at the Division II level, where a new power could be emerging in the sport, while other top programs return loaded lineups, strong pitching staffs or some combination of the two – all with their sights set on a trip to Denver.

While offense has boomed in softball of late, the key to sustained success remains having dominant arms in the circle.

The Gulf South Conference’s top eight teams meet at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama, beginning May 4 for an automatic bid into the 2022 Div. II NCAA Tournament.
