Jeff Filali is a busy man: he’s the GM and founder of the Tulsa Elite program which, if you look on our Master Verbal List, has nearly three dozen players signed and committed to universities in the Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC conferences.

Jeff is also an assistant coach at Butler Community College (Kan.) which was ranked No. 1 in Junior College softball in 2014.

The Tulsa Elite organization has had several players make the Hot 100 lists for the 2014 and 2015 classes and there are several candidates in the junior class who could qualify as well.

Here’s a quick look at the top 2016’s listed in alphabetical order with comments from the coach…

— RHP Brittany Beaudet (Tulsa Elite ‘98, uncommitted)
“Brittany ended the summer with an ERA of 1.20 leading the team to National Runner-Up at ASA 16 GOLD and TC/USA 16U Nationals this summer. She’s a dropball pitcher who understands how to control where balls are hit and rarely gives up big hits. She pitched a lot of complete victories against some great teams this summer including GA Elite, Premier Fastpitch Black, Florida Power and others. She has a few visits set up for later this fall.”

— C/IF Macy Brotherton (Tulsa Elite ’98, committed to Arkansas)
“Macy recently joined the team and previously played for the Mena Heat out of Arkansas. She has great size at 5-foot-10 and hits with home run power.”

— 1B/RF Maddelyn Brotherton (Tulsa Elite ’98, committed to Arkansas)
“Maddelyn, twin sister of Macy, also recently joined the team and previously played for the Mena Heat out of Arkansas. She has great size at 5-foot-10 as well and home run power.”

— C/IF Ashley Chesser (Tulsa Elite ’98, committed to Northern Iowa)
“Ashley recently joined the team and previously played for Tulsa Eagles. She plays high school ball for Broken Arrow (Okla.), the largest high school in the state and one of the top softball programs. She swings left handed with home run power and is very athletic with a strong arm.”

— OF De’Leigh “Dee” Emarthle (Tulsa Elite ‘98, uncommitted)
“Dee has a strong bat with home run power and put up double digit HR’s this summer.  She’s got solid range in the outfield and a good arm.  She has several visits set up and should be committing soon.”

— OF Kelsey Eropkin (Tulsa Elite ’96, committed to Tulsa)
“Kelsey is one of the fastest kids in the state of Oklahoma.  She’s a right-handed hitting leadoff type kid with her speed and also has home run power.  She covers major ground in the outfield.”

— C/IF Hayleigh Galvan (Tulsa Elite ‘98, committed to Oklahoma State)
“Hayleigh is very athletic with a cannon arm and hits with big power.  She had offers by schools in both the SEC and Big 12 before choosing OSU.”

— IF Devin Hale (Tulsa Elite ’98, uncommitted)
“Devin just joined the team following picking up at Nationals and is a great defensive third base or other infield position.  She has a consistent bat.”

— MIF Aubrey Johnson (Tulsa Elite ‘98, uncommitted)
“Aubrey has many Div. 1 offers and more visits set up this fall. She is a great middle infielder, very athletic with a solid consistent bat. I expect she will be committed before the fall season ends.”

— C/IF Jessie Noftsger (Tulsa Elite ’96, uncommitted)
“Jessie missed most of this summer due to an injury, but is back with full home run power now.  Her arm was previously clocked between 64-70 mph.”

— OF Kennedy “Goose” Salyers (Tulsa Elite ‘98, uncommitted)
“Goose is a true lefty and hit leadoff for the team this summer.  She hits a lot of doubles and is quick.”

— OF Daryan Torix (Tulsa Elite ‘98, uncommitted)
“Daryan is a righty hitting centerfielder with a great bat with home run power and can cover the ground in centerfield.  She also has a great arm.”

— OF/IF/C Mikayla Whitten (Tulsa Elite ’96, uncommitted)
“Mikayla is very athletic, fast right handed leadoff type hitter with home run power and speed.  She’s great in the outfield, but can also play middle infield and catch when needed. She has a few Top 25 programs recruiting her.”
