The No. 11 Grand Valley State softball team picked up two more wins on Saturday afternoon, their final day at THE Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. After taking down Lewis, 8-1, GVSU captured a big win over No. 23-nationally ranked Southern New Hampshire, 4-0. The pair of wins pushes the Lakers to 14-2 overall and their winning streak to eight as they travel back to Allendale for just a few days as they are scheduled to travel to Cedarville, Ohio to take on the Yellow Jackets on Saturday, March. 16.

CLERMONT, Fla. -- The Bellevue University softball team won 2-of-3 games Thursday in their fourth day of competition at the PFX Spring Games. The Bruins opened the day with an 8-1 win over William Woods. They saw their five-game winning streak snapped in a 7-3 loss to Cleary. BU ended the day with a 9-1 victory over Trinity International.

Grand Valley State Holds On To Lead Against MSMU & LIU Post

No. 11 Grand Valley State softball earned a couple of wins over Minnesota State-Mankato and LIU Post on Thursday morning (March 7) to improve to 10-2 on the season and 7-1 at the PFX Spring Games down in Clermont, Fla. A two-home, three-RBI game from freshman Lydia Goblel ed GVSU to a 5-4 victory over the Mavericks before a great performance from sophomore righty Hannah Beatus in game two helped them to a 3-1 win over the Pioneers.

No. 14 GVSU softball picked up two more wins at the THE Spring Games on Tuesday afternoon (March 5) when they took down Northern State 6-1 and Stonehill 9-0. The Lakers are now 8-2 on the season heading into their day off on Wednesday. They will resume play with doubleheaders on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before returning to Allendale.
