Jason Michael Brainard, age 52, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021. Jason was born May 29, 1969. His first job out of college was in Law Enforcement starting with Pontiac Prison and then transferred into Law Enforcement with Livingston County Sheriff's Department in Pontiac, IL. While working for Livingston Police Department, Jason coached Flanagan High School football and worked for Flanagan school district. Prior to becoming Federal Security Director, he completed Air Marshall Training in New Mexico.

Every year since 2011, the weekend following the NCAA Division I Women’s College World Series marks the pilgrimage of some of the top travel softball teams in the country converging in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to compete in the Annual Tulsa Elite Summer Invite. That first year, 16 teams took to four fields, and today the event has grown to become one of the nation’s top recruiting events of the year. From Wednesday-Sunday, well over 100 college coaches attend the tournament held at Arrowhead Park, offering a single 12-field complex allowing for maximum exposure.

OKLAHOMA CITY – With double-elimination bracket play well underway for both the 16-Under and 18-Under divisions at the 2020 USA Softball GOLD Nationals, a number of teams inch closer to a spot in the Championship finales, set for Saturday at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City and Arrowhead Park in Broken Arrow.

After what has seemed like a lifetime without any softball, the annual Tulsa Elite Summer Invitational is getting ready to play ball and bring us back out of the pits of despair. We are so excited to watch the bright prospects that will be participating at the 2020 Tulsa Elite Summer Invite from June 4-7. 

Softball is back.

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- After the opening day of the Tulsa Elite Invite was interrupted by weather delays, it looked like the tournament had finally found some good luck on day two. With games not starting until 5 p.m., tournament officials were optimistic they could get the event back on schedule.

Summer ball has officially started and Drew Riddle is already racking up some big numbers at the plate.
