Basketball has its madness in March. But college softball can lay claim to some mayhem of its own that begins in mid-May and runs into June.

USA Softball announced today the remaining Top 10 Finalists vying for the 2022 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Currently in its 20th season, the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award is considered the most prestigious individual honor in Division I college softball and recognizes outstanding athletic achievement by Division I female softball players across the country.

With just over two weeks until the start of the 2022 NCAA Division I Softball season, USA Softball has announced the Top 50 “Watch List” for the 2022 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. Entering its 20th season, the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award recognizes outstanding athletic achievement by Division I female collegiate softball players from across the nation.

OKLAHOMA CITY – With less than five months until the Tokyo Olympic Games, USA Softball has added four exhibition contests for the U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) in addition to the previously-announced three-game series against world-ranked No. 5 Mexico (March 8-10).
