With the college softball season just around the corner, there's no shortage of great pitchers who will be sitting down batters throughout the 2023 season.

Basketball has its madness in March. But college softball can lay claim to some mayhem of its own that begins in mid-May and runs into June.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Thirty student-athletes are in the running for the 2021 Schutt Sports / NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year award, the Association revealed on Thursday afternoon. The winner will be announced prior to the start of the 2021 NCAA Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
