How old were you when you started playing softball? What do you love about softball?
I was around four years old when I started playing softball. I’ve met players and coaches that have turned into lasting relationships. It’s formed higher expectations for myself and increased my competitiveness. I love the energy and the chemistry softball brings.
Where did you go on your visits? What did you like about those trips?
My visits include the University of Washington and Oklahoma State University. I went to Oklahoma state first. They told me that most of the whole town shuts down and goes to big games, like football. It is very family oriented. I love the commitment from the coaches to their players. In all, Washington was the best fit for me.
When did you verbally commit to the school of your choice? Why that school?
I verbally committed to Washington February of my freshman year. I immediately felt like I was at home in Seattle. I loved the coaches and the program itself is wonderful. I couldn’t see myself anywhere else for the next 4 years of my life.
What are your plans for signing day?
My plans for signing day is to sign at my house with my friends, family and family friends. Eat food and take pictures.
What excites you most when you think about college?
What excites me the most about college is being able to grow and expand myself in Seattle. I am looking forward to competing at one of the highest levels of softball.
What's one thing you're going to take from home and bring to college?
One thing I’ll take to college with me is my dream catchers. I probably have around 12 of them but I’m not taking them all. They work for me about 85% of the time which is surprising. They’re something small that will remind me of home.
What song(s) will be your walk-up song?
Maybe a Post Malone song.
