Nevada 9, Pacific 8
STOCKTON, CA - Nevada scored seven runs in the final three innings to mount a comeback victory against Pacific and advance to the championship round of Region 1.

The Wolfpack scored four runs in the fifth and plated two more in the top of the seventh, with the game-winner coming across on a double by Melissa Arriaga. McKenna Isenberg allowed 14 hits in the wild complete-game victory, striking out seven and moving to 18-12 on the season.

Haylee Moran-Rowen had four hits for Pacific; the teams combined to make nine errors.

Nevada will take on undefeated Cal Poly on Thursday for the Region 1 title in the double-elim bracket.
 
Boise State 7, San Diego 3
OGDEN, UT -- Carrying a one run lead into the final two innings, Boise State garnered a trio of insurance runs to ensure their stay in the 2017 NISC, beating San Diego, 7-3.

Morgan Lamb stole the show in Utah, totaling three hits, two runs, three RBI and a home run. The Broncos' middle infield duo of Rebekah Cervantes and Karlee Johnson combined for 10 assists with zero errors.

Sara Silveyra had the best day at the dish for San Diego, going 2-3 with a run and a double.

Boise State will stay afloat in the Weber State Regional and will await the loser of the inter-Utah match-up between Utah State and Weber State who will face each other at 1 p.m. MT.

UNC Wilmington 5, Campbell  1
LYNCHBURG, VA -- Four early runs in the first inning let UNC Wilmington cruise to victory over Campbell on Wednesday, 5-0, keeping them alive in the 2017 NISC.

Kelsey Bryan provided a monstrous day at the dish for UNCW, going 3-4 with a double, a run scored and three stolen bases. The shortstop also assisted on four plays without committing an error.

The Camels' catcher Bailey Bjorson etched the only RBI for Campbell in the final frame, but it was too little, too late.

UNC Wilmington will move on in the Liberty Regional, slated to face Iona  later Wednesdayevening at 7 p.m. ET.

Alabama State 3, UT Martin 0
ATLANTA, GA -- Late-inning drama provided an exciting finish in the Georgia State Regional. Alabama State conjured up four of their seven hits in the final frame to stay alive, rolling past UT Martin, 3-0.

Vanessa Bradford  pitched a gem of a game for the Hornets, going seven innings strong, striking out two and allowing zero earned runs. It was Alexia Boggess who came up with her only hit of the game, but it would go down as the game-winning single, bringing home Perry Hindi and Amira James to seal the victory.

UT Martin's Alli Fulcher had one of the Skyhawk's four hits on the afternoon and came up with three assists at shortstop.

Alabama State will now face Western Kentucky in the third and final matchup of the day in Atlanta at 7 p.m. ET for the right to stay in the NISC.

UL Monroe 5, UT Arlington 0
BEAUMONT, TX -- Anchored by a strong pitching duo, Louisiana-Monroe cruised past the Mavericks of UT Arlington to stay alive in the NISC, winning , 5-0.

Paige Porter and Melanie Coyne combined for the seven inning shutout. Facing 14 and 12 batters respectively, neither pitcher surrendered a run or a walk throughout the contest. Catcher Samantha Agamaite tallied two of the Warkawks' RBI with two hits in her three plate appearances.

UT Arlington's Mallory Foster had the best day for the Mavericks, totaling two hits, an assist and a put out in right field .

The Warhawks will move on to face the lover of the match-up between Abilene Christian and Lamar in a game to be played at 7 p.m. CT.

Michigan State 7, IUPUI 1
NORMAL, IL -- The Spartans scored in all but two innings on Wednesday against the Jaguars to stay alive in the Illinois State Regional, defeating IUPUI, 7-1.

Melanie Beccay and Kaitlyn Eveland proved to be warriors at the plate all afternoon long. The Michigan State dynamic duo combined for six hits, four RBI, two runs, one home run and one stolen base.

For IUPUI, Roni Patterson didn't go down without a fight, tallying two hits, including a double and the Jaguars' only RBI.

Michigan State will now face the loser of Murray State and host Illinois State at 7 p.m. CTWednesday evening.

Weber State 2, Utah State 0
OGDEN, UT -- In the battle of the Beehive State, Weber State needed only two runs to silence their rivals to the south Utah State, 2-0.

Tatiana Su'esu'e went the full seven innings, giving up just three hits and striking out four to keep the Aggies at bay. KyRae Kogianes brought in the inevitable winning run with a fielder's choice in the second inning.

For the Aggies, Kelli White pitched six strong innings with two  strikeouts, but Utah State left six base runners on the pads compared to Weber's three.

Weber State will now advance to the finals tomorrow which is set for 10 a.m. MT. The Wildcats will await the winner between Utah State and Boise State, who will square off Wednesday night at 4 p.m. MT.

Liberty 3, Ohio 0
LYNCHBURG, VA -- Sharp production out of the bottom end of the lineup for Liberty led them to a 3-0 victory against Ohio to advance to the regional final on Thursday.

Batting in the eighth spot on Wednesday, Kaitlin McFarland went 2-3 on the afternoon, scoring a run and claiming two of Liberty's three RBI.

Danielle Stiene pitched five great innings coming in relief for Savannah Jo Dorsey, striking out six and walking only one.

Liberty will solidify a spot in the regional final on Thursday, awaiting the winner of Ohio and a team yet to be determined.

Pacific 6, UC Santa Barbara 3
STOCKTON, CA -- Facing elimination, Pacific utilized a three-run fifth inning to stay alive in the 2017 NISC, beating UC Santa Barbara, 6-3.

The middle part of the Tigers lineup came up huge on Wednesday, combining for two doubles and five RBI. All but one Pacific batter earned a hit against the Gauchos.

Alyssa Diaz did her best to keep UCSB afloat. The first baseman went 3-4 with a run scored.

Pacific will stay alive and await the loser over the match-up between Cal Poly and Nevada. The elimination game under the lights is slated for a 7 p.m. PT start time.

Lamar 6, Abilene Christian 1
BEAUMONT, TX -- Winning their second game is as many days, Lamar sits in the driver's seat in their regional after defeating the Wildcats of Abilene Christian, 6-1.

Sable Hankins claimed three of her team's six RBI, was walked once, scored twice and hit Lamar's only home run. In the circle, Ciara Luna dominated with five strikeouts, giving up only four hits in her seven innings of work.

Alli Spivey came up with Abilene Christian's only run and earned one of four hits on the day for her team.

Lamar will now await the winner of Wednesday night's elimination game between Abilene Christian and Louisiana- Monroe.

Kennesaw State 5, Georgia State 3
ATLANTA, GA -- Three extra-base hits propelled Kennesaw State to the regional, fighting past the host school Georgia State, 5-3.

With a double, home run and an RBI, Jessie Mullen was virtually unstoppable against the Panthers on Wednesday. Coming in during the third inning, Logan Viers pitched five rock-solid innings to ensure the Owls into the final Thursday.

Ivie Drake provided most of the offense for Georgia State, going 2-4 at the dish with a home run and two RBI.

Kennesaw State now earns the right to play for the regional title Thursday, awaiting the winner of Georgia State and a team yet to be determined.

Illinois State 2, Murray State 0
NORMAL, IL -- Riding a three-hit shutout from Sara Finck, Illinois State glided to victory over Murray State, 2-0, advancing to the regional final.
Allison Spence and Annie Heineman led the offensive charge for the Redbirds, both tallying an RBI. No one in the ISU lineup struck out on Wednesday.

Haven Campbell dealt well in the circle for the Racers, but only three Murray State batters reached safely, allowing the Redbirds to take the contest.

Illinois State will advance to Thursday's final, where they await the winner between Wednesday'selimination game between Murray State and Michigan State.

Cal Poly 1, Nevada 0
STOCKTON, CA - Lindsey Palmer threw a two-hit shutout for Cal Poly, striking out seven batters and moving to 13-7 on the year as the Mustangs squeaked past Nevada.

Chelsea Convissar drove in the game's only run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning that brought home Shawna McDonough. Crimson Kaiser also had two hits.

Nevada sophomore Kali Sargent pitched very well for the Wolfpack, allowing four hits and no walks.

Cal Poly will play for the Region 1 title tomorrow, facing either Nevada or Pacific.

Boise State 10, Utah State 2
OGDEN, UT - Makenzie Sullivan had three hits, driving in five runs with a home run and two triples, as Boise State stormed by Utah State in Region 2 action Wednesday.

Rebekah Cervantes also had three hits, and pitcher Mackenzie McGill got her first win of the season, scattering four hits and striking out three batters.

Victoria Saucedo had two hits for Utah State, and Riley Plogger had a triple, a run scored and an RBI.

Boise State will play Weber State on Thursday for the Region 2 title, but will get to play a rematch if Weber State wins the first game in the double-elim format.

Western Kentucky 12, Alabama State 3
ATLANTA, GA - Western Kentucky took an early lead with four runs in the third inning and put the game away with a six-run burst in the sixth inning to keep the Hilltoppers in the mix for the Region 5 title.

Jordan Mauch had a home run and drove in three runs, while both Brittany Vaughn and Rebekah Engelhardt had three hits for Western Kentucky.

Perry Hindi had two home runs and three RBI for Alabama State, which gave up 14 hits.

Western Kentucky will take on Georgia State on Thursday, with the winner facing undefeated Kennesaw State for a chance at the Region 5 championship.

UNCW 6, Iona 2
LYNCHBURG, VA - UNCW rolled to five runs in the fourth inning to gain control, and pitchers Sarah Davis and Haley Lenderman combined efforts to keep the Seahawks moving through the Region 6 loser's bracket.

Kali Jones and Lauren Moore each had two hits for UNCW; Davis got the win and moved to 16-7 on the season.

Iona scored one run in the third inning and one in the sixth, with Katie Newton and Tori Danner each driving in a run.

UNCW will play Ohio on Thursday, with the winner facing host Liberty for a chance at the Region 6 title.

UL Monroe 7, Abilene Christian 0
BEAUMONT, TX - Sydney McKay had three hits and scored twice for UL Monroe, which took a lead it would never relinquish in scoring six runs in the second inning as Paige Porter scattered four hits with her shutout win.

Jayden Mount drove in two runs, and Melanie Coyne and Samantha Agamaite each had two hits for the Warhawks.

Casey-May Huff had a double for Abilene Christian.

UL Monroe will take on host Lamar on Thursday for the Region 4 title; with Lamar sitting undefeated in the double-elim format.

Michigan State 10, Murray State 6
NORMAL, IL - Trailing 6-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, Michigan State poured across 10 runs to race past Murray State and stay in the mix for the Region 3 title.

The Spartans sent 14 batters to the plate in that big inning. McKenzie Long and Lea Foerster each had three hits, and Kelcey Carrasco hit a home run.

Brenna Finck had two hits for Murray State.

Michigan State will take on host Illinois State for the championship, with the Redbirds sitting undefeated in the double-elimination format.
