It’s championship week in Southern Calif. as many of the top 16U and 14U teams in the country start pool play today in the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) National Championships.

There are 64 teams competing in the 16U division and 52 in 14U and Saturday night the teams were placed into brackets. Pool play begins today and runs through Thursday in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley, Calif.

Friday (July 26) the championship games will be held at Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, Calif.

The 14U National Championship will start at 4:30 pm and will be tape delayed on Comcast/Fox Sports West while broadcast live over web radio at www.sportsnetusa.net.

The 16U National Championship kicks off at 7:30 pm at the same location and will also be aired over TV and radio.
