#70... Brianne Betschel (OF, Batbusters-Briggs)--Ohio State
Brianne is a very good slapper and an excellent contact hitter who puts the ball on the ground and then causes havoc with her speed. She emerged on the national scene at the OnDeck West Coast National Elite Camp two years and shortly after that was offered by the Buckeyes and committed. She hit .385 last year and went 14-for-15 in steals on her way to earning 1st Team All-Century League honors.
#69É Elizabeth Jackson (OF, Team North Florida)ÑArkansas
Elizabeth had good speed and instincts and can run down the ball in the outfield as good as any outfielder in the Hot 100. Her father, David Jackson, played baseball at the Univ. of Georgia so she has the bloodlines to play at a high level. An All-Conference honoree in the Tampa, Fla. area, Elizabeth is a lefty who can slap or swing away and can drive the ball to all fields.
#68... Katie Bailiff (C/SS, NC Lady Lightning)--North Carolina
Katie is a power-hitting catcher whoês athletic enough to play several infield positions. She was a member of the first Lady Lightning Gold Future team in 2010 and helped her team win a PGF National Championship. A key cog of the Gold team that finished ninth at the last summer's PGF Nationals, she has dominated the North Carolina scene the last two years, hitting .488 as a freshman and .456 with 39 RBI, six home runs and nine triples last season to earn 2A All-State honors.
#67... Alex Sobczak (3B/C, Finesse)--Michigan
Alex plays for the same organization that produced All-American Amanda Chidester and some feel they are the top two players in the Finesse program in the last two years. A phenom who's been lighting up the 18U level since she was 14, Alex is a dominant athlete who is a power-hitting machine. Her 17 home runs at the high school level was just one off the state record and she hit .613 with 52 RBI and 20 walks (six intentional) in 93 at bats. She could easily be an earlier impact player in the Big Ten.
#66... Melissa Rochford (3B, So Cal Athletics)--Notre Dame
Melissa was one of the key cogs that helped the OC Batbusters-Myers team make it to the PGF 16U Nationals title game last summer. She went 7-for14 in bracket play and showed her great eye at the plate when she walked eight times. A solid defender who has a strong arm and can hit for power and average, Melissa hit .44 with 22 RBI for her high school team in Orange County, Calif. and only struck out three times in 105 plate appearances.
#65... Abby Langkamp (P, Sudden Impact)--Baylor
Abby is a lefty pitcher with good movement and spin and did well at OnDeck West Coast National Camp two years ago to put herself on the national map. She's been lighting up the Texas high school scene since her freshman year when she went 11-1 with a 1.31 ERA to earn District 14-5A Newcomer of the Year honors. In 2013, she went 20-5 with a 1.50 ERA. She's an excellent fielder who only made one error in 101 chances and swings a dangerous bat too, hitting .400 and .392 the last two years.
#64... Reagan Hathaway (C/2B, Wichita Mustangs)--Texas
Reagan is a versatile athlete who as a catcher has plus arm with great accuracy and is also a tremendous outfield prospect who has the speed to track down balls. She can flat out hit from the left side and could play early in Austin hitting in the three or four spot. Reagan brings a great energy to the fieldand was a Kansas Class 6A All-State pick as only a sophomore.
#63... Madi Moore (P, Birmingham Thunderbolts)--Alabama
Madi's a lefty pitcher with good movement on her throws and has a strong off-speed pitch. She is consistent and durable as shown by her huge numbers put up in 2013 when she went 31-6 and recorded 411 strikeouts in 251 innings and had 20 shutouts, seven no-hitters and even a perfect game--all this in a season when she was fighting mononucleosis. Madi led her team to the championship round of the Class 3A tournament and was a 1st Team All-State pick. She also hit .379.
#62... Alexis Hull (C, Tennessee Fury)--South Carolina
Lex is a lefty power hitter who hits for power and average and is one of the top defensive catchers in the country due to her quickness and precise, accurate arm. She calls most o her own games behind the plate and in two years of high school ball has a .992 fielding percentage and hit .405 with an on-base percentage of .501. Amazingly, Lex started playing high school varsity ball as a seventh grader and set two school records (most runs scored, most walks) and didn't have an error all year. Two years ago, she helped lead her Fury team to the 14U ASA National Championship.
#61... Hailey Hilburn (P, Cal Cruisers)--Utah
Hailey is a tall, hard thrower who clocks in at 64-65 mph and also has one of the best drop balls in the country. She won 17 games last year with a 1.38 ERA and had eight shutouts for her Orange County high school and on the club scene had a strong showing at the PGF Nationals last summer as she went 3-2 but had a 1.07 ERA and struck out 30 batters in 26 innings. One of her big wins was over the powerful Texas Glory-Shelton team that went on to finish tied for third. In that victory, Hailey pitched four shutout innings while striking out five.
