T’s blog: my Thanksgiving video (11/28)

We wrap up our 2014 Thanksgiving blog and “giving thanks” coverage (yes, we know it’s the day AFTER, but we’re still eating leftovers so it’s still Thanksgiving here at Full Count Softball!) with another fun video from Tamara “T” Statman.

T explains what she's grateful for including her love of softball in this blog video.

In today’s video, T shares what she’s thankful for and then treats us to interviews with players from three club programs: the Birmingham Thunderbolts (her team), the NW Batbusters, who she guested with last weekend at Surf City and threw a perfect game and finally with the OC Batbusters including two bloggers who had posts on our site yesterday—Taylor McQuillin (Arizona) and Amanda Lorenz (Florida).

T asks the same fun question and gets some nice answers… and video photobombs!

And if you don’t know who T is, then shame on you, but we’ll be kind and tell you she’s a 2015 pitcher/infielder from Phoenix (Ariz.) Horizon High who signed with Arizona and is one of the most accomplished softball players around…here are just some of the accomplishments of the Arizona senior:

  • 4.0 student
  • 1st Team All-American
  • 2015 Hot 100 honoree
  • has a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo
  • participates in student government
  • started a program called “T K’s for Skin Cancer” where she partnered with the Arizona Skin Cancer Foundation to raise money for each strikeout she records

Also, check out her website which is one of the best softball player sites you’ll ever see.
