No. Player Position Club College
60 Haven Sampson
#60 - Haven Sampson
OF Georgia Impact - Jeffreys Arkansas
Haven is one of the best pure outfielders in the country and is a gamer who has a knack for performing at a high level in big situations. She's not big in stature, but has a huge heart and competitive spirit. Haven gets terrific reads on the ball in the outfield and has a great arm and is not afraid to show it off--she dares you to run. She committed to Arkansas almost exactly a year ago and this summer hit .333--second best on her team--while helping the Impact-Jeffreys team tie for 13th at PGF 14U Nationals. She earned All-Region honors after hitting over .300 as a freshman at the high school level.
59 Holly Azevedo
#59 - Holly Azevedo
P Sorcerer Gold UCLA
Although she's just a sophomore, Holly is already starting her second year at the 18U Gold level and is a veteran at facing the best hitters in the country. Last summer Holly was on the Sorcerer team that had only six losses during the entire summer season and helped lead her team to a 3rd place at the Boulder Independence Day Tournament. The previous year, Holly was the ace of the 14U Sorcerer team that placed 3rd at PGF Nationals. She moves the ball extremely well and change speeds effectively and went 19-3 with a 0.83 ERA and had 198 strikeouts in 152 innings. She also carries a 4.0 GPA and plays the viola in the chamber orchestra.
58 Hannah Martinez
#58 - Hannah Martinez
3B OC Batbusters - Briggs Arizona
Hannah is a passionate, fiery leader who is vocal on the field and openly shows her love for the sport. A team leader, she has great arm strength at third base and with her range and athleticism can play almost anywhere on the field. Hannah hit .412 in 2014 with 24 RBI and 12 doubles in 26 games. Despite missing the last four games with injury, she was still selected All-League for the Big VIII in the Corona, Calif. area. The previous two years Hannah led her club teams to Top 5 finishes at PGF Nationals and both years had the most RBI. In 2013, she hit .500 to lead the team in batting as well.
57 Noelle Hee
#57 - Noelle Hee
C/1B Corona Angels Washington
Noelle's game is all about power and strength and some coaches say she's one of the strongest players in the class. Noelle also has the skill set to be an elite power hitter at the next level. She's 5-foot-10 and can drive the ball a long way, but is also a force behind the plate and at first base too. As a freshman she hit .372 and, in talent-laden Orange County (Calif.), was the co-MVP of the Trinity League and was picked 3rd Team All-County.
56 Sydney Pennington
#56 - Sydney Pennington
SS Tulsa Elite 98 Oklahoma State
Syd is a 5-foot-11 five-tool athlete who helped lead the Tulsa Elite 98 team to 2nd place finishes at the ASA 16U Gold and TCS/US Nationals this year. Her range at shortstop is phenomenal and her overarm velocity has been clocked as high as 70 mph. Syd also has pop in her bat as she hit more than 20 home runs this summer. She comes from a family of athletes: her father played baseball at the Univ. of Oklahoma, her mom played college basketball and her aunt pitched at Oklahoma as well. Syd hit .433 with nine homers and 39 RBI as a freshman.
55 O'Neil Roberson
#55 - O'Neil Roberson
IF Birmingham Thunderbolts Mississippi State
O'Neil is a pure hitter who combines great power with the ability to hit for average. She has been part of two Top 10 finishes at PGF Nationals and one Top 5 finish at ASA Nationals with the Thunderbolts. O'Neil plays for her father, Jay Roberson, on the Bolts and has been with the organization was eight-years-old. The dangerous slugger put up a .468 average as a freshman and over the summer batted .556 with most hits being doubles or home runs. SEC scouts say privately she's one of the top hitters in the class and O'Neil almost committed to Oregon before falling in love with Mississippi State.
54 Keara Napoli
#54 - Keara Napoli
P Atlanta Vipers - Vallery Georgia
Keara helped her team make it to the Georgia state championship at the 7AAAAA level and finished the year with a 1.20 ERA and 286 K's. She has a rise and curve that baffle hitters and is a dangerous strikeout artist who is known as a great leader on the field and a big source of encouragement to her teammates. More mature than her years, she had several major programs interested in her because of her leadership and presence on the field. Georgia coaches reportedly were so impressed in their first meeting with Keara when she was a freshman that they offered almost immediately.
53 Taylor Johnson
#53 - Taylor Johnson
3B/C Beverly Bandits Wisconsin
Few freshmen launched their high school careers with as big of a season as Taylor did. She blasted 18 homers (6th best in Illinois state history) and hit .598 with 68 RBI to earn MaxPreps Freshman All-American honors. Taylor is a pure hitter with power but swings the bat for average as well. She's a raw athlete who plays catcher and the corners and her potential is unlimited. Soft-spoken off the field, she leads by example and has the potential to be a superstar in the sport.
52 Jenna Olszewski
#52 - Jenna Olszewski
OF Birmingham Thunderbolts Auburn
Jenna moved to Birmingham, Ala. two years ago from Michigan and has been a key player for Jay Roberson's Thunderbolt 99 team ever since. She has a lot of pop in the bat for a speed player who can also play catcher and the middle infield positions. Jenna possesses excellent quickness, instincts and range and comes up clutch when needed. The Alabama standout cracked a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to help her Hoover, Ala. team win the Area 10 championship game and eventually advance to the state playoffs.
51 Niki Carver
#51 - Niki Carver
C/3B Georgia Impact - Jeffreys Ohio State
Niki is the type of player who will often have the dirtiest uniform on the team because she gets after it and lays it on the line each play. She can catch and play corner outfield and earned Georgia 8-AAA All-Region honors this fall. Niki has great softball skills and plays the game hard as a fierce competitor. Coaches love her engaging personality and smile, but she is all business between the lines. With a strong all-around game including her way above-average arm, glove and bat, Niki should see early playing time for the Buckeyes.
