There are a lot of great hitters–be they slappers or long range bombers–in the 2015 class, but only 10 could make the Louisville Slugger Hit Club to be held August 1-3 in Huntington Beach, Calif.

After a panel of coaches, scouts and evaluators looked at players at tournaments and showcases all over the country–from Team NJ to Boulder IDT to the Atlanta Legacy to the TC/USA Nationals, the final list was pared down to 10.

This week, the final standout player was added in Lily Mann, a tall, athletic slapper from Harmony, Fla. who hit .652 as a senior with an on-base percentage of .714.

She also had 10 triples and went 30-for-30 on the bases to earn 1st Team FloSoftball All-American honors.

Lily is the prototypical table-setting lefty slapper who is headed to her parents’ alma mater, the two-time defending national champion Florida Gators.

She was notified this week while on vacation with her family in the Florida Keys and will fly straight to Southern California this weekend to play for her club team, the Gold Coast Hurricanes, in the USA Softball JO Cup before joining the Hit Club next Saturday.
