In total, 57 clubs from as far east as New Jersey, into California out west, and across the Midwest, Mid South and Texas make up the tournament.
The U18 division at this week’s Top Club National in Norman welcomes some of the premier prep talent from around the country.
In total, 57 clubs from as far east as New Jersey, into California out west, and across the Midwest, Mid South and Texas make up the tournament.
Likewise, the collection of prospects hitting the diamond include commits to programs from all corners of the nation and some of the most noteworthy teams in the college game.
The in-state Epic National U18 boast outfielder Gracie St. Hilaire, a signee to 2022 National Invitational Softball Championship participant Central Arkansas.
Fellow 2022 signee, pitcher and first baseman Rylie Grant, is headed to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Epic National also features 2023 prospect and North Texas commit Madison Conley, a third baseman with proven home-run power.
And at one team of 57, that just scratches the surface on the standout talent headlining the U18 division of Top Club National. The field features some of the most interesting prospects and stories in the sport, like Aces Fastpitch U18 double-trouble Lauren and Hannah Camenzind.
The twins will join an Arkansas Razorbacks program that took national runner-up to the limit in this season’s NCAA Super Regional.

Before they pursue dreams of playing in Oklahoma City at the Women’s College World Series, they have an opportunity to make a mark on the softball landscape at Top Club National.
Southern California’s Corona Angels bring a lineup loaded with 2022 and 2023 Div. I signees and commits, including to national powerhouse programs. Infielder Claire Timm is headed to Oklahoma State, a 2022 WCWS qualifier and winner of this season’s Big 12 Tournament—no minor feat, given OSU scored a win over juggernaut Oklahoma.
Outfielder Ayanna Shaw and pitcher Taylour Spencer, both 2023 prospects, are committed to Oregon.
“Softball is a game of adjustments,” Shaw, of Mater Dei Catholic in Chula Vista, California, told the San Diego Union-Tribune earlier this month. “Sometimes you adjust every pitch, but if it’s a strike I’ll hit it.”
Corona Angles could be the team to beat at Top Club National thanks to players like the efficient-hitting Shaw. But another SoCal squad might have something to say about that.
OC Batbusters (Stith) touts a pair of commits to perennial power Arizona in utilityman Regan Shockey and pitcher Ryan Maddox. Meanwhile, the rich get richer as two-time reigning NCAA champion Oklahoma has a pair of 2023 commits from the Batbusters lined up to join the Sooners: Ella Parker and Maya Bland.
Bland transferred to Argyle High School in Texas last year following the death of her father, former Saint Mary’s basketball player Martell Bland.
Maya told the Denton Record-Chronicle this spring that her love of sports came from her father—and she plays with his memory guiding her.
