Newly Formed Lone Star Elite To Face USA Women's National Softball Team
Texas club softball powerhouse programs combine players to play against USA Women's National Softball Team.
22 of the top Texas club softball athletes have been chosen to receive the experience of a lifetime competing against the USA Women’s National Softball Team bound for the 2020 Olympics.
Dubbed the Lone Star Easton Elite, Hot 100 players from Texas Glory, Texas Bombers, Impact Gold, Aces Express, and neighboring Oklahoma Athletics have combined for a killer roster to compete on April 18 at Constellation Field in Sugar Land as part of the USA "Stand Beside Her" tour. Ticket Info

“I’m super excited for the opportunity to share the field with KC, Kevin and the other coaches involved," Bombers Coach Scott Smith said. "I think it’s incredibly cool for the players from the various Gold programs to come together and compete against the best players in the world that make up Team USA.”
Texas Glory Coach Kevin Shelton commented, "Personally, I'm extremely honored to have a chance to be associated with a game that includes some of the best fast-pitch players on the planet. It's a rare-exciting chance, that our athletes are really looking forward to."
Easton stepped up when they caught wind of the Lone Star Elite team donating exclusive bats, gloves, helmets, and catching for the doubleheader April 18th.
