TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Two-time All-PAC 12 outfielder Alexis Mack will join the Alabama softball program as a graduate transfer in 2020 following two standout seasons at the University of Oregon.
"We are very excited to add Alexis to our 2020 roster," UA head coach Patrick Murphy said. "She will provide tremendous experience to our team next spring. Team 24 could be one of the fastest in our history."
The Brecksville, Ohio, native started 40 games as a freshman at South Carolina in 2016 before playing two seasons at Oregon, earning All-PAC 12 and NFCA First Team Pacific All-Region honors each year. She led the Ducks with a .424 (72-for-170) batting average in 2017 and led the league with 28 stolen bases. Over the team's four-game run in the Women's College World Series, she hit .500 (7-for-14) to earn All-Tournament honors. She started all 62 games as a junior in 2018, batting .369 (66-for-179) with 24 stolen bases and 43 runs scored. She sat out the 2019 season to complete her undergraduate degree and will join the Crimson Tide as a graduate transfer.
Mack will have one year of eligibility, joining rising seniors Elissa Brown, Taylor Clark, Sarah Cornell, Bailey Hemphill, Krystal Goodman and Claire Jenkins on the 2020 roster.
