Over 30 new verbal commits were added this week with eight coming in from Fury Platinum and seven from Diamond Sports Hotshots. Last fall, Western Kentucky committed infielder Taylor Sanders, pitcher Madeline Harris, and outfielder Brylee Hage from Fury Platinum.

In the more recent news, Indiana Magic Gold - Rudd utility player Sarah Goddard announced her verbal commitment to Duke University. Goddard joins the commit list with eight of her teammates in the 2020 class.

Two Texas mid-major teams to keep tabs on in the next 2-3 years are Houston and Stephen F. Austin. Both programs are continuing to improve year over year recruiting talent that often gets overlooked. Houston picks up Diamond Sports Hotshots-Dumezich first baseman/utility player Angel Morales who will be a long ball, RBI producer for the Cougars. Stephen F. Austin picks up a solid defender and speedster Madison Nguyen from the Diamond Sports Hotshots-Dumezich.
