Last season, Corona Angels Tyson dominated the 14U division beating Sorcerer-Schroll, Batbusters Campbell, Athletics Mercado/Greg. Which 14U squads will be 2019 National Championship contenders?

Could the #1 team be from the Lone Star State? The Diamond Sports Hotshots Premier Nelson is an obvious favorite going into the 2019 season with lefty ace SJ Geurin (Oklahoma-commit) and spark plug third baseman Kennedy Powell (UCLA-commit). The Hotshots are stacked with speed, power, and experience. As a young 14U team last season, the Hotshots were one game away from punching their ticket to the PGF championship game.

Georgia Impact Fisher/P. Lewis has plenty of firepower on their squad filled with SEC commits from infielder/power hitter Mia Williams (Florida-commit) to shut down ace Kirsten Fleet (Georgia-commit). Falling short at PGF two years in a row has got the Impact motivated for a killer 2019 season. 

What about Tennessee Mojo Danley who shocked Diamond Sports Hotshots Jones in the 12U PGF Premier title game? The underdogs of PGF have aces for days with Florida State-commit Ashtyn Danley and Mack Huddleston. They are backed by strong defense and clutch hitting.

Don’t count out Batbusters Campbell who is a top-three team year after year. Batbusters reload with young talents like infielders Maya Bland and pitcher Ella Parker. The younger sister of Hot 100 player Tiare Jennings (Oklahoma), Tele Jennings and younger sister of Zaida Puni (Oklahoma), Zaniah Puni are also on Mark Campbell’s roster adding stellar offense and defense to the strength of the team.
