Our list is the deepest and most thorough you will see as we feel it necessary to honor all those who earned the right to be considered as a FloSoftball All-American!

The criteria for selection includes a combination of all the following factors: 
  • ​Performance on the field
  • Overall contribution to the team's success
  • Talent and skills (athletic and softball-specific)
  • ​Off the field success (academic, community, charity, etc.)

1st Team FloSoftball All-Americans: Pitchers


Sr. Meghan Beaubien (St. Mary Catholic, Monroe MI)null
Meghan finishes off her prep career as a three-time FloSoftball All-American, a PGF All-American and a two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year. She completed her career winning three straight state titles, striking out 16 batters in the championship game after pitching a perfect game as a junior in the state final. She finished the year with a 22-1 record and a .035 ERA with 30-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Meghan is ranked #6 in the FloSoftball 2017 Hot 100 and has signed with Michigan.

Jr. Logan Caymol (Buford, GA)null
Logan led Buford to a third state championship and No. 1 overall ranking in the Peach State. She earned 5A Pitcher of the Year honors and made All-State for the first consecutive year. Her record was 18-1 with a 0.77 ERA and 156 K's in 120 innings. Logan is ranked #35 in the 2018 Hot 100 and has verballed to Tennessee.

Sr. Jordan Dail (Brookville, Lynchburg VA) null
Jordan was nearly untouchable all year, giving up just two earned runs as the lefty went 22-1 with a 0.09 ERA and had 304 strikouts in 153 innings. The Virginia Tech commit threw five no-hitters and 16 shutouts and led her team to the 3A state title game where they fell 1-0 in an 18-inning heart-breaker. 

Sr. Ryan Denhart (Los Alamitos CA)null
Ryan led Los Al to the FloSoftball final FAB 50 #1 ranking as the Griffins won the CIF-SS Div. I title behind her 26-3 record and 0.94 ERA. The Maryland commit ranked #72 in the 2017 Hot 100 also had 148 strikeouts in 141 innings and in the championship game gave up just three hits to help upset previously ranked #1 Norco 3-1. Ryan was also honored as a PGF All-American, the So Cal Sidelines Orange County Player of the Year and is a CalHi Sports Ms. Softball State Player of the Year finalist.

Sr. Taylor Dockins (Norco CA)null
Taylor's amazing story, where she returned from liver cancer surgery in the summer of 2016, is the story of the high school year as her amazing return was capped off with honors across the board including Gatorade National Player of the Year. A PGF All-American and the California Gatorade Player of the Year as well as the So Cal Sidelines Pitcher of the Year, she broke the CIF-Southern Section mark with career wins with 108 and as a senior went 33-1 with a 1.00 ERA. The Cal State Fullerton commit helped Norco finish #2 in the FloSoftball FAB 50 high school rankings.

Sr. Maddy Dwyer (Orange Lutheran, Orange CA)null
Maddy went 23-4 with a 1.15 ERA and had 203 K's in 171 innings to help the Lancers make it o the CIF-Southern Section D1 finals and a #11 final FAB 50 ranking. The Stanford commit is also ranked #52 in the FloSoftball 2017 Hot 100 and is headed to Stanford. She's also a finalist for CalHi Sports Ms. Softball State Player of the Year.

Jr. Megan Faraimo (Cathedral Catholic, San Diego CA)null
An excellent volleyball player as well as one of the top pitching prospects in the 2018 class, Megan went 27-1 with a 0.60 ERA and had 251 K's in 175 1/3 inning this spring to earn So Cal Sidelines San Diego Pitcher of the Year honors. She capped off her year with a 17 strikeout performance in a 10 inning win in the San Diego Open finals. The UCLA commit is ranked #7 in the FloSoftball 2018 Hot 100. 

Sr.  Mary Haff (Lake Region, Eagle Lake FL)null
Mary repeats as a FloSoftball 1st Team All-American as she went 14-2 with a 0.58 ERA with nine shutouts and two no-hitters. The 5-foot-10 right-hander headed to Arkansas and ranked #47 in the FloSoftball Hot 100 had a dominating run in the regional playoffs with 50 K's in 20 innings including 22-of-24 against Tampa Champerlain and a no-hitter in the Regional Championship. Mary also earned Florida All-State 7A Pitcher of the Year honors.

Sr. Alexis Holloway (Crown Point IN)null
Alexis, ranked as the top pitcher in the FloSoftball 2017 Hot 100 and #2 overall player, had a stellar season going 22-1 with a 0.26 ERA and 277 strikeouts in 164 innings to lead her team to the Indiana Class 4A title. That following a remarkable performance in the state semis when she won two games in one day and totaled 36 K's in 20 innings of work. The Notre Dame signee was chosen as a PGF All-American and earned USA Today 1st Team honors as well as being chosen as the Gatorade State Player of the Year. 

Sr. Julia Jensen (Reed, Sparks NV)null
Julia was a FloSoftball 2nd Team All-American last season and moves up to the 1st team after having another great season in which she went 31-2 with a 0.94 ERA and an impressive 386 strikeouts in 209 1/3 innings with only 24 walks. The Nevada signee led her Raiders team to the Class 4A state finals and earned her second Gatorade State Player of the Year honors as well as being named Northern Nevada Player of the Year and All-State for the third straight year.

So. Dylann Kaderka (Keller TX)null
Dylann helped Keller win the Class 6A state title bursting onto the national scene as she went 30-5 with a 1.67 ERA as the Texas power finished #14 in the FloSoftball FAB 50 final rankings with a 35-6-1 record. The lefty's win total was the fifth best in school history and she was at her best in the playoffs, giving up just one run in two regional final games, two runs in the semis and only one in the state title game as she scattered six hits in the 5-1 win over Bowie High (Austin). Dylann was selected as the All-Area Pitcher of the Year for her breakthrough season.

Sr. Maddie MacGrandle (Frisco TX)null
Maddie was a FloSoftball 1st Team All-American as a Multi-Position player as she can hit too--this year she batted .440 and was walked 37 times--but we focus on her pitching prowess this season after she went 18-7 with a 0.89 ERA and 281 K's and only 22 walks in 150 innings. The Texas A&M commit, who's #51 in the FloSoftball 2017 Hot 100, was again GCA 5A All-State and the 13-5A District MVP after earning Gatorade State Player of the Year honors as a junior.

Sr. Lauren Mathis (West Orange, Winter Garden FL)null
Lauren repeats as a 1st Team FloSoftball All-American as she went 16-2 with a 0.58 ERA this spring. The Georgia commit, who's been ranked as high as #36 in the FloSoftball 2017 Hot 100, also earned Class 9A Pitcher of the Year and 1st Team All-State recognition by Miracle Sports after pitching 11 complete games, nine shutouts and recording two no-hitters. Lauren had 193 strikeouts in 108 innings and only allowed nine earned runs all year.

Jr. Kelly Nelson (Norton MA)null
Kelly earned Gatorade State Player of the Year and USA Today 2nd Team All-American honors after going 21-2 with a 0.21 ERA and recording 398 K's to only 14 walks in 166 innings. Equally impressive, she only gave up one extra-base hit all year--a double--while facing 549 batters. The Holy Cross commit had seven no-hitters and four perfect games with 18 shutouts in her 23 games started.

Sr. Kelsey Oh (Mount St. Dominic, Caldwell NJ)null
Kelsey repeats as a 1st Team FloSoftball All-American as she went 14-4 this year with three of the losses 1-0 and the other 2-1. This following a junior campaign that saw her go 20-4 with a 0.95 ERA and take her team to the state title game. Last year, the South Carolina signee who is ranked #14 in the 2017 Hot 100, had 290 K's in 155 innings; this season she added 251 more in 110 innings to see her tally 1,074 for her standout prep career.

Fr. Maddie Penta (Bohemia Manor, Chesapeake City MD)null
You have to be pretty special to make the 1st Team All-American squad as a freshman, but Maddie showed one why rival coach called her "the best high school pitcher I've ever seen." The #11-ranked player in the 2020 Hot 100 and sure to be one of the most heavily recruited 2020's this summer, she led the Eagles to the 1A State Championship and in the title game allowed just three hits while striking out 18. In the playoffs, she didn't allow a run while striking out 80 in her last 31 innings. For the season: 13-1 record with 246 K's in 100 2/3rd inning with a 0.00 ERA.

Jr. Ashley Rogers (Meigs County, Decatur TN)null
Ashley went 33-3 with a 0.27 ERA to lead her Tigers team to the Class A State championship. The #14 ranked junior in the FloSoftball 2018 Hot 100 and a commit to Tennessee, had other amazing stats including 441 strikeouts to only 10 walks in 2018 innings to bring home more hardware including Gatorade State Player of the Year and USA Today 2nd Team All-American recognition.

Jr. Kathryn Sandercock (Bishop O'Connell, Arlington VA)null
Kathryn has exploded onto the national scene as one of the most exciting young players in the game. The 5-foot-10 James Madison commit was chosen to the USA Softball Jr. National Team this year as a hard-throwing right-hander and was totally dominant at the high school level in the spring, earning Gatorade State Player of the Year honors after she went 26-0 in the circle with a minuscule 0.09 ERA and recorded 330 strikeouts in 151 innings. 

Sr. Gabby Sprang (Rosemount, MN)null
Gabby moves up from 2nd Team All-American last year after she finished off her prep career with another dominating season. The PGF All-American and finalist for Miss Softball in Minnesota (to be announced on June 25) set every pitching record at her high school including most strikeouts, wins, innings pitched and ERA. She's been a varsity letter winner since the 7th grade playing at the Class 4A level and has earned All-State three years and All-Conference all four years. As a senior she had a 0.94 ERA and a 5-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio.

Sr. Peyton St. George (Atlee, Mechanicsville VA)null
Peyton led her team to the Virginia 5A State Championship as she went 21-1 with a 0.05 ERA and 276 strikeouts in 135 innings. She also allowed opponents only a .069 batting average against her and had a 1.000 fielding percentage. Peyton was a three-time state champion and each year also earned 1st Team All-State honors. The first recruit committed in Duke softball history, she was a four-time All-Conference and All-Region selection also and ended her prep career with a 62-10 record.

Jr. Vanessa Strong (Freedom, Oakley CA)null
Vanessa follows up on her Cal Hi Sports 1st Team All-State year as a junior with another standout campaign that saw her go 16-6, compile a 1.17 ERA and pitch 12 shutouts. She's been a three time BVAL champion and each of the last three years has led the league in strikeouts including 206 this season in 137 1/3 inning. Vanessa has succeeded again elite competition like #2 nationally ranked Norco and this year also pitched two no-hitters and one perfect game (19 of the outs were strikeouts) while limiting opponents to a .168 batting average.

Jr. Shelby Wickersham (Mount Carmel, New Orleans LA)null
Shelby won two state championships for the Cubs this year: one in volleyball and one in softball. She went 18-3 in the circle with a 0.78 ERA and 192 K's in 123 innings. The LSU commit was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 5A All-State team and is ranked #13 in the FloSoftball 2018 Hot 100. Shelby was also the MVP of the state title game in which she struck out seven and gave up just one hit in a four-inning, mercy rule win.

Jr. Danielle Williams (Amador Valley, Pleasanton CA)null
Danielle moves up from the FloSoftball 2nd Team All-American list from last summer as she dominated once again in NoCal action. The Northwestern commit, ranked #27 in the FloSoftball 2018 Hot 100, went 17-1 with a 0.34 ERA as a junior with 17 complete games, nine shutouts and three no-hitters. Danielle had 231 K's in 122 innings and for her three-year career now is 55-6 with a 0.58 ERA.

Sr. Brooke Yanez (Buena,Ventura CA)null
Brooke led her team to a 27-0-1 record and the CIF-Southern Section Div. IV title as well as the #19 ranking in the final FloSoftball FAB 50. She went 19-0 with a 0.58 ERA and 214 K's in 121 innings. The left-hander committed to UC Davis was the So Cal Sidelines Los Angeles Pitcher of the Year and is a finalist for the CalHi Sports 2017 Ms. Softball State Player of the Year.
