12 Reasons Why USA Elite Select 30 Will Be Epic
Here are 12 reasons why this year's USA Elite Select's Select 30 All American National Camp will be epic for softball players in the 2018 to 2023 graduation classes.
The Select 30 All American National Camp is once again bringing the top college prospects from across the country together in one place for two days of competition, evaluation, and training on August 18-20 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Here are 12 reasons why this year's camp will be epic for players in the 2018 to 2023 graduation classes.
1. Receive national coverage on FloSoftball.
2. Be recognized as one of the elite players in your class. Last year's leader Skylar Wallace (a 2018 Alabama commit) set the 20-yard dash record with a laser-tested time of 2.61 seconds.
3. Represent your team/organization on the national stage.
4. Get the National Pro Fastpitch experience. Select 30 offers the opportunity to witness firsthand what it's like to play for a championship at the professional level.
5. Compete alongside the top players in your graduation class. See where you stack up. Last year, the 2017 class featured four Hot 100 pitchers committed to the SEC--Natalie Lugo (Florida), Keara Napoli (Georgia), Ava Tillman (Ole Miss), and Kara Bilodeau (Auburn).
6. Deck out in the sweetest gear. Easton is hooking players up with awesome stuff! Easton is providing all athletes chosen to the Select 30 Games a free Easton bat, customized Easton helmets and batting gloves, and Easton catchers gear.
7. Quantify your game with advanced stats. It's 2017! We're going to transcend the eye test and attach actual metrics to the premier athletes in the nation. This athletic testing will rank athletes nationally and show them where they stand on measurables in speed, agility, strength, overhand velocity, and bat speed.
8. Train with the best. Anyone a fan of superstars Lauren Chamberlain, Sierra Romero, and AJ Andrews? Well, here's your opportunity to work with current college and professional players. Current LSU players and NPF players will working with you at the camp.
9. Behold the game in the best venue possible. Watch professionals play at one of the best softball stadiums in the world -- LSU's Tiger Park.
10. Get to know your opponents. Meet players you've played against for years or who you'll play with and against in college. Last year, Select 30 brought together two Auburn commits when Taylon Snow (OC Batbusters Stith) and Kara Bilodeau (GA Impact Lewis) played together for the first time. Select 30 also saw Skylar Wallace (Alabama) and Cheyenne Lindsay (Florida) playing infield together.
11. Be recognized as one of the top 30 players in your graduating class. Selections of first- and second-team All Americans will be announced on the selection show.
12. Learn the ropes of the sport at a collegiate and professional level. Through conversations, training, and panels with players and coaches in the softball world, you'll be able to gain a wealth of knowledge in understanding how this lifestyle works.
