We're going to let you in on a little secret. ... Our next film is going to be on the UCLA program. After doing more than six hours of interviews in the Bruin bubble, we realized how much history there is to be shared about UCLA softball.

Lisa Fernandez (1990-93)
Fernandez is an assistant coach for UCLA softball. She's is married with two boys. She was a four-time NFCA first-team All-American, two-time national champion, three-time Honda Sports Award winner, and two-time Olympic gold medalist. Oh, and she was also named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Century.

Amanda Freed (1999-2002)
Freed is now married with two children. You may have seen her as a color commentator for PGF Nationals, ESPN, and Pac-12 Network.

Natasha Watley (2000-03)
Watley is fresh off a Japan League Championship with the Toyota Red Terriers.

She keeps busy during the offseason by building the Natasha Watley Foundation, which promotes a healthy and active lifestyle through the softball community. Watley serves as the director of softball operations at Cal State Northridge.

Stacey Nuveman Deniz 1997, 1999, 2001-02
Nuveman is now the associate head coach at San Diego State University. She's been coaching at SDSU since 2009. She's married with two boys, Chase and Dylan. Before coaching, Nuveman set the NCAA record for career home runs.

Tairia Mims Flowers 2000-03
Tairia Flowers kidsMims Flowers is married to Jason Flowers, a former UCLA guard. They have two children. Flowers may have the two cutest kids on Planet Earth. There's no doubt that her kids will eventually be power athletes.

She enters her seventh season as head coach at Cal State Northridge.

Caitlyn Benyi 2003-06
After graduating, Benyi continued to give back to the game by coaching at UCLA, UCSB, Cal State Northridge and now Newbury College. Benyi was named to the Pac-12 All-Century team as a second baseman. She is married and living in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dot Richardson 1981-1983
Most remember Richardson for producing one of the greatest moments of the 1996 Olympics when she hit the game-winning home run to win gold. She would go on to win another gold medal in 2000. In 2013, Richardson took over as head coach of Liberty University. She is married to her assistant coach, Bob Pinto.

Jennifer Brundage 1992-1995
Brundage has spent the past 20 years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, serving as the assistant softball coach at the University of Michigan. Before coaching, Brundage was a standout third baseman for UCLA, winning the Honda Award and leading the NCAA in batting average (.518). In 2007, she was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame.

Janice Parks 1986-89
The UCLA Hall of Fame inductee is a math teacher at Mayfair High School. A two-time NCAA champion, Parks took home three first-team All-American honors, a spot on the 1980s NCAA All-Decade Team, the 1989 Pac-10 Conference Medal and the 1989 Honda Award -- the highest individual accolade in college softball.

Andrea Duran  2003-06
Duran plays third base for the USSSA Pride. In 2015, she was MVP of the NPF. Yes, she's still a stud.
