In May we wrapped up our updated look at the 2017 Hot 100 players in the country and from that list we've come up with the list of colleges who've pulled in the top recruiting classes so far.
So how does the college team rankings work?
The process is based on a point system where the higher ranking players received more points. Each player’s point total is based on a scale that adds up to 100; for example, the No. 1 player receives 100 points, No. 2 has 99, No. 3 has 98… down to No. 100 which receives 1.
An interesting fact: all eight teams who made the 2016 Women's College World Series have teams ranked in the Top 20!
