In the nightcap of the second day of the Tiger Classic, the Pacific softball team silenced 2,116 fans with a thrilling 2-1 victory over the #3 LSU Tigers, thanks in part to a commanding performance by junior pitcher Cassidy Gustafson (2-0), who went the distance for the monumental win, notching a complete-game, five hit effort with three strikeouts and logging 133 pitches along the way. Pacific improves to 3-1 with the victory, while LSU falls to the same mark.
