1. Passed Ball gives ASU the walk-off win, one of the worst ways to lose. ASU beats No.8 Tennessee 5-4.

2. When it rains, it pours. No.8 Tennesee falls to Fresno State 3-7 leaving eight runners stranded.

Fresno State's Linsey Willmon and Dominique Jackson carried the Bulldog offense putting up six of their seven runs against the Vols.

3. Pacific Tigers take a bite out of the No.1 LSUs opening day winning streak 2-1. LSU leaves 11 runners stranded.

In the nightcap of the second day of the Tiger Classic, the Pacific softball team silenced 2,116 fans with a thrilling 2-1 victory over the #3 LSU Tigers, thanks in part to a commanding performance by junior pitcher Cassidy Gustafson (2-0), who went the distance for the monumental win, notching a complete-game, five hit effort with three strikeouts and logging 133 pitches along the way. Pacific improves to 3-1 with the victory, while LSU falls to the same mark.

4. Long Beach runs away with a 13-2 win over No.11 Minnesota

5. Oregon State run rules No.22 Kentucky 8-0

Freshmen Meehra Nelson threw six innings with five strikeouts shutting out the Wildcats. The Beavers capitalized on the eight walks given up by Kentucky.

6. No.20 UCF shuts down No.3 Alabama 8-1

Shelby Turnier, pitcher for UCF had nine strikeouts leaving the Tide offense stumped. Courtney Rotten tore it up at the plate going 4-for-4 with five RBIs.
