Michigan State Softball 2016 Official Visit

"Well, I just got back from my official visit to Michigan State University. The campus is so beautiful but especially at this time of year as the leaves are changing colors. It was two days full of nonstop excitement.
On Friday morning, our whole recruiting class met with the coaching staff at the host hotel, and Coach Jacquie gave us an overview of what the next two days would be like. It was great meeting the whole 2016 class and their families. Even though we have all met before at tournaments and stay in touch through social media, there is nothing like spending time together in person.
We then went to campus and met with our compliance administrator, toured the weight room, and met with our future strength and conditioning coach. We attended softball practice and got to meet all the current players who were very welcoming. That night we went to dinner and then attended Midnight Madness Michigan State style with the whole softball team at the Breslin Center. It was a great time!
On Saturday, we started off with a trip to a Michigan apple farm and then a team tailgate prior to the football game where our Spartans beat the Hoosiers. Our player hosts for the weekend were amazing and treated us so good. It was nice talking to them about softball and their life experiences as a student-athlete at Michigan State.
I truly can't wait to officially be a Spartan! Go Green!
