Sydney Supple from Oshkosh, Wisconsin is one of the top 2019 players in the country and last year committed to Northwestern when she was just 13 years old. The tall lefty, who is also a standout hitter, is a freshman at Oshkosh North High School and is playing this year on the Beverly Bandits-Conroy/Terrell 16U team that looks to be one of the best in the nation in its age division.
Here is Sydney's blog covering her experiences at last weekend's Diamond9 Fall Showcase which ends her fall season...

Orlando, Florida is a magical place kids dream of going to and spending time at the happiest place on Earth.
It´s the same thing for softball players, playing in the magical place at our happiest place which is on the softball field! And in this case, at the incredible ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
As a team it was a “happily ever after ending” in Disney as we finished our fall season 7-0 at the D9 Sun Classic Fall Showcase.
It was a great weekend playing high level teams from the south and the West Coast that we don´t get to see often including the Corona Angels and the So Cal Athletics.
Since this tournament is a showcase we switched around our line-up focusing on our uncommitted players, and we were all very proud of how they stepped up to the plate and competed strong in front of a lot of college coaches.
The end of the fall season is a big time for signings and verbal commitments, so I know I couldn´t be more excited to see which schools will be fortunate to get my teammates.
As fall season comes to a close, it brings the hardest part of the year for me, which is hanging up my glove.
It is another part of training that every player has to have a little time-off physically and mentally to recharge our bodies and our minds. I will also be using it as a time to work on another important part of my game: getting as strong as I possibly can along with focusing hard on my schoolwork.
Stepping away from the game for a bit is one of the most powerful things you can do, growing that hunger for the game inside of you.
Not being able to wait until you can lace up the cleats again and step foot on the field. It builds that drive inside of you and grows your love for the game.
