Measurables:

  • Overhand Throw:  68 mph as verified at a recruiting combine by Scout Softball (scout-softball.com).  This ranks her as the third hardest thrower in the entire nation at any age, and ranks her at #1 in the 2016 class.
  • Home to First:  2.80 as verified at a recruiting combine by Scout Softball
  • Shortstop Ranking:  Scout Softball ranked her the 5th best 2016 shortstop in their national database.
  • Outfield Ranking:  Scout Softball ranked her the 3rd best 2016 outfielder in their national database.

Scouting report: An outstanding athlete, Alexis hits for a high average, combined with power.  Though she’s slotted at infield or outfield, she has also been a dominant pitcher in club and high school.

Club resume: Led her team, Junction Girls ’98, to the Softball Nation National Championship in Richmond Virginia where she batted .545 in the National Tournament and went 4-0 on the mound with a 0.67 ERA.

High school resume: Alexis was the first player in the history of Fox Lane High to be named to the All-League team as an eighth Grader. She followed that up with All League and All Section honors in her freshman year and has a combined batting average over her first three years over .500 playing in the division with the largest high schools in the state of New York. She also hit eight home runs her freshman year.

Recruiting: A good enough student-athlete to be recruited by most of the Ivy League schools, she is also hearing from ACC, Big East, Patriot and MAAC programs and has been offered scholarships.
