The top club team in the nation for the past year has announced its roster for this next year and it looks to be loaded once again with eight of the players going to two very-high profile programs.

The OC Batbusters-Haning/Stith team won the PGF 18U Premier Nationals last month and returns 11 seniors to a team that will be the favorite to win another title.

Although the team lost key contributors in catcher/infielder Janelle Wheaton (Florida), catcher/infielder Maddie Jelenicki (UCLA), middle infielder McKenna Arriola (Oregon State), pitcher Kaylee Carlson (North Carolina) and first baseman Alysha Everett (Oregon State), the Batbusters add a fourth Florida commit in Natalie Lugo, a 2017 pitcher as well as some names that aren’t as familiar.

One of those is senior second baseman Kwynn Warner who Coach Mike Stith says “is coming back from an ACL injury and should have a big year. She attends Norco (Calif.) High and used to be with the Corona Angels.”

A fourth Arizona commit is new to the team as well as 2017 outfielder Zia Norris will add depth to a fantastic outfield already led by centerfielder Amanda Lorenz (2015, Florida), Falepolima Aviu (2015, Oklahoma) and Natalie Peters (2015, Michigan).

Of Norris, Coach Stith says: “She has to learn how to play the game, but her ceiling is very high.”
