No. Player Position Club College
60 Ashlee Swindle

P/1B Birmingham Thunderbolts Auburn
Ashlee is the definition of a pitcher versus a thrower. She throws in the low 60's but her effectiveness comes from a frustrating change-up, one of the best in the country, that has drawn comparisons to the change thrown by former Arizona All-American Taryne Mowatt. Ashlee also has a good rise and drop and is smart on the field and in the classroom (top 10% of her class). She led her high school team deep into the Alabama playoffs with a 49-7 record and was selected honorable mention All-State.
59 Madison Uden

IF Firecrackers - AZ Ewing Michigan
Madison plays in the second biggest division in Arizona and earned All-State honors last year after exploding onto the scene as a freshman when she hit .600 with 57 runs and 30 RBI. She's a gap hitter with good speed and is a great all-around athlete--she also plays varsity volleyball and basketball. Madison is also an excellent student with a 4.0 GPA and plays the middle infield and third as she has good lateral quickness and a good glove.
58 Maribeth Gorsuch

P Texas Glory - Adkins/Allen LSU
Maribeth led her high school team to the Texas 5A title last spring by going 22-4 with a 1.24 ERA and she also hit .392 with 32 RBIs. She was 6-0 with a 0.53 ERA in the playoffs despite playing with a rib muscle injury. Gorsuch was named the Dallas-area Softball Player of the Year. Two years ago she led the Glory to the 16U title in Colorado. She has a rise, curve and screwball with good movement and can change speeds effectively on all her pitches. She missed most of the Nationals season after taking a line drive to the face, but is back playing now.
57 Alexee Haynes

IF/P Beverly Bandits Pittsburgh
Alexee is a right-handed corner infielder whose strength is her stick: this past high school season she hit .612 and batted over .400 for the club season. A two-time all-state honoree, she helped lead her Bandits team to a 2nd place finish at PGF Nationals. Alexee can hit for average and power and is a clutch hitter, especially with runners on base. The junior, who carries a 4.75 GPA, can even pitch if needed as she throws around 61 mph and has a good drop and change-up.
56 Ciara Bryan

OF/3B Georgia Impact - Bass Georgia
Ciara is one of the best athletes in the 2016 class and one of the best out of Georgia in the last five years. She is an excellent hitter--as one coach put it she can "absolutely rake the ball." She was on fire at this year's PGF Nationals as she hit .688 which was the highest batting average of any player in the event. She was a 1st Team All-Region selection last year when she hit .485 after batting .480 her freshman year. Ciara also is a standout in track and was even a NCA All-American in cheerleading.
55 Alex Martens

IF Illinois Chill Kentucky
Alex is a 6-foot second baseman who is as good on defense as she is at the plate. She has tremendous range and turns in jaw-dropping plays virtually every game. Alex is a strong 3 hole hitter who hit .440 this past club season leading the team in average and also doubles. In 179 plate appearances she only struck out eight times. At the high school level, she was equally dominant as she hit .518 and earned 2nd Team All-State honors and Chicago Sun-Times All-Area recognition. Alex also has a 3.96 GPA.
54 Abby Broome

C Georgia Impact - Gibson Georgia Southern
Abby has a very strong arm and her 1.72 pop time usually keeps base runners from straying too far. At PGF Nationals this year she threw out all eight runners who attempted to steal on her. Another of her strengths is her strong blocking abilities. On offense, Abby is a gap hitter who hits the ball with power and sits well in the middle of the line-up. She helped her team to a runner-up finish in Georgia 6A last year and hit .408 at PGF Nationals this summer to help the Impact tie for 7th.
53 Kaylee Horton

MIF Birmingham Thunderbolts uncommitted
Kaylee is a triple threat/slapper hitter with great bat control and can put the ball pretty much wherever she wants. Last year she hit .631 for her high school team with a .659 on-base percentage and batted .529 for the Bolts during the summer. Kaylee also can run as shown by her 55 steals at the prep level. The 4.0 student-athlete shines on defense where she has quick feet to get to the ball and a gun to throw out the runners. She is currently uncommitted but is getting strong interest from SEC and Big Ten programs.
52 Aailyah Jordan

OF Corona Angels - Tyson UCLA
Aaliyah has been one of the most heavily watched players in Southern California for several years now. When she was a freshman, Pac-12 schools were coming to her friendlies to watch her. Aaliyah is a five-tool player who combines talent with a hard-nosed approach to the game. As one coach described it, “she comes at the game like she’s at war.” She’s a clutch hitter, the type you want with the runner at third and two outs. Last spring the So Cal standtou hit .475 with a .644 on-base percentage and a 1.513 OPS.
51 Allison Tatnall

OF Explosion Arizona State
Allison is a pure lefty hitter who has pop and line-drive gap power. She hit .444 with 31 runs scored last spring and has very good speed and instincts. On defense, Allison also has a gun and had 11 outfield assists last year to earn 1st Team All-Area honors. She always has a smile on her face and plays at full-speed all the time. She loves the game and was also recruited by major programs across the nation including SEC schools.
