This morning in the Recruiting News & Notes article we introduced you to Colleen Sullivan… here’s a closer look at the future Bruin catcher who committed last Saturday including video of her in action this summer!

Stats: led the Batbusters – Campbell team in hitting with a .545 average (12-for-22) at the 2014 PGF Nationals and had 11 RBI in seven games.  She had a walk-off home run in one game and on defense had 36 putouts with no errors.

What made the Bruins stand out? “I am the first 2018 to commit to UCLA. I love the coaching and the family feel of the team. The program is very historical and the education you receive is outstanding. I hope that as a catcher I can be a leader on the team and help to keep the program flourishing.”

What is your favorite bat: “Mizuno. The makers are always trying to find new ways to put their bat on top. I have also tested the new bats that will be released in December and they have amazing pop with also some very interesting improvements.”
What bat do you and your team use? “I use a Mizuno Without 2 bat (and soon Whiteout 3). My team uses Mizuno because we are sponsored by Mizuno.”
What is your favorite brand of cleats? 
”Mizuno”
What is the uniform brand you prefer? “I prefer Mizuno. I love they dry fit material and they are extremely light weight and comfortable but still look great.”
