While in Las Vegas a week ago for the NFCA Convention, I was able to stop by a workout thrown by Jeff Blanco and Advanced Fastpitch Training.

There were several impressive players there including Josey White, a 2018 catcher/infielder, who plays for the Firecrackers-Blanco 16U team and attends Lake Mead Christian Academy in Henderson, Nev.

As reported in an earlier profile, Josey “is a good two-way player with defensive skills to play behind the plate combined with the athleticism and arm to play the infield.”

She is starting to get some serious recruiting attention and in this video you’ll see here in some drills as well as learn about her all-around athleticism including several other sports she plays (and one other she’d love to be part of, but it doesn’t look like her parents will let her!).
