Georgia Impact logoOne of the top teams in our FAB 50 14U Club Rankings, which we unveiled last week, was Georgia Impact – Lewis which was rated No. 7 in our first list of the year.

Patrick Lewis not only has a team that can make a run at Nationals this year, he also has a whole team full of candidates for the Hot 100 list.

Here’s a look at nine of this talented freshmen players who are being recruited and have the skills to play at the next level… players are listed alphabetically.


Maddie Billings
Maddie Billings

Player: MADDIE BILLINGS

Team: Georgia Impact – Lewis

Pos: P/3B

High School: Etowah H.S.

City/ST: Woodstock, GA

Stats: Club – 132 IP, 2.65 ERA, 170K, .300 avg. 1 HR; High School – 2.315 ERA, 198K, .371 Avg. 8 doubles 25 RBI

Honors: 5-AAAAAA 1st Team All-Region, Cherokee County Ledger 1st Team All-County, Cherokee County Tribune 1st Team All-County, Etowah Defensive Player of the Year.

GPA: 4.0 taking Honors classes

Recruiting: Has taken unofficial visits to Miss St., South Carolina, Ole Miss, Auburn, Georgia

Off the field: Maddie excels in the classroom and currently ranks in the top 5% of her class of 653 while balancing softball.

Coach’s Comments: “Along with Impact teammate Skylar Wallace, lead an Etowah team that was 8-19 the prior year to a Sweet 16 finish this year. Faced Pope star pitcher Kelly Barnhill in a region matchup and collected the only 2 hits of the game, including an RBI double. Also struck out 7 over seven innings in defeat to the eventual AAAAAA state champs. Pitched all 3 games of a first round playoff upset of number 4 ranked Lambert, advancing Etowah to the Sweet 16.”

“Maddie is known as one of the better spinners of the ball in her age group and her combination of movement, velocity and off-speed makes her one of the top pitchers in the Southeast. She’s also a talented third baseman with the ability to play either position in college.”


Logan Caymol
Logan Caymol

Player: LOGAN CAYMOL

Team: Georgia Impact – Lewis

Honors: Logan’s Buford High School team won the AAAA State Championship and was ranked #1 in the country by MaxPreps

GPA: 3.8 and awarded President’s Award for Educational Excellence

Recruiting: Committed to Tennessee

Off the field: Also plays basketball and is active in her church and FCA. Logan’s Dad played professional basketball overseas and her grandfather played quarterback at Clemson.

Coach’s Comments: “Logan stands 6-foot-1 tall and was one of the most highly sought after 2018 pitchers in the country. One of the top pitchers in the game and is still maturing into her frame.”


Trinity Ingleston

Coach’s Comments: “Trinity fractured her ankle at Scenic City Showcase in June and was unable to play at PGF Nationals, but she is one of the top power hitting players in the southeast. Trinity also has a cannon arm with overhand speeds in the mid-upper 60s.:

Coach’s Comments: “Faith was involved in a nasty collision at the plate during the high school season and dealt with a concussion. In true Faith style, she absorbed the huge hit and recorded the out! She has one of the best swings in the country and can compete with anyone in the 2018 class. Faith is a coach’s dream, she will outwork anybody and do whatever she’s asked at any time. Easily a top 10 hitter in the nation.”

Coach’s Comments: “Savannah, nicknamed ‘Rocket,’ is a lefty slapper (righty thrower) who has all the tools to play small ball (2.75 home-to-first) yet has the ability to power slap and hit for power. Savannah just came over to our team this fall and is a great addition to a talented group. Her Hillgrove High School team went to the AAAAAA Elite 8.”

Coach’s Comments: “Skylar fractured her right hand two weeks before PGF Nationals last summer. Skylar tried to give it a go but was unable to bat due to the pain. However, she made the decision to try batting right handed, which she hadn’t done in two years, and was able to swing without a lot of discomfort. Even batting right-handed Skylar led the team in average at PGF!”

“Skylar was possibly the most highly recruited player in the Southeast before verbally committing to Alabama in January. She had offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida and South Carolina and interest from many others. She has the rare combination of speed and power that every coach is looking for.”
