The Elon Phoenix softball program begins the 2024 college softball season with their own invitational, the Elon Softball Classic. Kent State, Miami (OH), Evansville and Appalachian State will all roll through Elon, North Carolina, with a chance to compete against the Phoenix. 

Despite qualifying for the CAA Softball Championship last season, Elon was swiftly eliminated in two games. The Phoenix have made the CAA postseason tournament the last four seasons, and two of those they've ended up in the title game, losing both times. 

Although Elon had a strong conference record at 15-7, the Phoenix were middling overall with a 22-26 record. The program will look to get back to the CAA Softball Championship this season, and it all starts at home with five games in four days. 

Note: only Elon games from the Elon Softball Classic will be broadcast on FloSoftball.

The Elon Softball Classic runs Feb. 8 to Feb. 11.

The 2024 Elon Softball Classic takes place in Elon, North Carolina, at Hunt Softball Park.
