Seven teams in college softball's 2024 preseason top 25 will head to Cathedral City, California for one of the sport's biggest events. 

The Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic features the top-two teams in the nation entering the season, No.1 Oklahoma-- the three-time defending national champions-- and No.2 Tennessee, will play over the four days. 

While those two squads won't play one another at the event, they will be challenged by teams from major conferences like the Big Ten, ACC, Pac 12 and more.

Every game at the Mary Nutter Classic is streaming live, including all the games involving ranked teams.

When Is The Mary Nutter Softball Tournament?

The Mary Nutter Classic is Feb. 22 to Feb. 25. Games begin Thursday and culminate with the final games on Sunday. 

Where Is The Mary Nutter Softball Tournament?  

The Mary Nutter Classic is at the Big League Dreams Complex in Cathedral City, California. The complex has five fields available.

Who Is Mary Nutter?

Mary Nutter was an All-American softball player and a pioneer in the sport. 

She was a coach at Pittsburgh State and was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1988 and the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1997.

Nutter died in 2012.
