What To Watch At THE Spring Games 2024?
Among other great competitions, on March 7th THE Spring Games will host a regional rematch at Legends Way in Clermont Florida between Trine University (46-6) and Waynesburg University (29-10).
The Trine Thunder opened their 2023 season in Central Florida at Polk County’s Winter Haven and Auburndale softball complexes, going 8-0 on the trip. Here's what Coach Danklefsen has to say about THE Spring Games “We have selected THE Spring Games for years! To me, it’s the best option by a landslide. Easiest to travel to, best housing options, best entertainment options for the players on off days! The facilities keep getting better each year and they by far work the hardest for you to get games in! I have always felt at home at THE Spring Games. THE Spring Games is the only place we even look to go!”
This is the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets’ first year at THE Spring Games. Here’s what coach Shimek has to say about returning to THE Spring Games, “We have had historic seasons the last two years earning the school's first-ever NCAA Regional bids. In both years at the Regionals, we ended up playing top-five ranked teams and ultimately losing both times. We choose the Spring games because we wanted to play the best competition possible and challenge ourselves to get better.”
