Danielle O'Toole "Tooley", pitcher, from Fontana, CA, transferred to the University of Arizona after spending two seasons at San Diego State, where she was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Year in 2014 and Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2013. The southpaw was a two-time All-Mountain West performer named second-team all-NFCA West Region in 2014. Tooley won 31 games in 2014, the most in San Diego State history. She left San Diego State as the school’s leader in winning percentage (.726). In two years with the team, she went 45-17 with a 1.87 ERA in 411.2 innings pitched with 317 strikeouts. Before college, Tooley pitched for Marty Tyson's Corona Angels.
In this week's podcast, we talk about Tooley's transition into the Arizona Wildcat tradition and playing for Coach Candrea. If you haven't seen her pitch, she has a sick change. You will never guess how she got her change up down.
