In our ongoing series looking at recruit visits to campuses, we go to the Big Ten to look at a big weekend last week as the Golden Gophers brought in six players as part of their 2016 class.
It’s a large class with a total of seven coming in next fall—one recruit couldn’t make it, 2016 Hot 100 catcher Kendyl Lindaman of Iowa Premier Gold.
Six others could make it to the Minnesota football game, however, which was an exciting 27-24 win over Ohio Univ. which ran the team’s record to 3-1.
Enjoying the victory and the festivities in Minneapolis were the following standout recruits (l-r): pitcher Amber Fiser (Beverly Bandits), shortstop Katie Kemmetmueller (Xtreme), shortstop MaKenna Partain (NW Bullets), utility player Kaitlyn Kruger (Wisconsin Jr. Phoenix), utility player Carlie Brandt (Le Sueur Henderson H.S. MN) and 2016 Hot 100 pitcher/first baseman Kendal Judge (Mizuno Hawks-Judge).
